Sam has to tell lie after lie to cover his tracks. What kind of a racket has Rod got going? Alf offers Justine a place to live when Pippa goes away, but Justine tells him to stick it.

Chloe dumps Lachie. Justine starts some serious drinking and doesn¹t want to stop. Tiegan wants to join Joey¹s band.

Lachie discovers that his mother has been blackmailing Chloe to keep them apart. Alf faces his own racial prejudices and Hai leaves town. Tiegan becomes the new guitarist for the band.

Lachie tells Diana that he and Chloe are moving in together. A handsome young man mysteriously turns up on Irene¹s doorstep. Sam gets off with a good behaviour bond. Sally has to decide if she will leave Summer Bay.

Chook and Lillian are suspended for buying and selling drugs. Fisher decides to act against Education Department advice, and exclude Lillian and Chook. Tom and Aaron continue their gentlemanly competition to win the heart of Leila. What's wrong with Lachie?

Vinnie has a great idea: the band should cut a CD. Chloe can't get a hold of Diana to tell her about Lachie's operation. The tension between Will and Harry has reached boiling point.

Finally Will and Harry take to their fists. Chloe's terrified — there are complications with Lachie's operation. Jesse wants to know why Rachel's so depressed.

Does Harry have a plan to keep Lillian at Summer Bay High? It looks as thopugh Lachie's survived the worst. Tom spies on Aaron's date with Leila. Joey doesn't know what to do with his money, help Irene or help the band?

Jesse finds out why Rachel's been so scared of going to school. Fisher finds himself in the middle of a media frenzy. Irene goes to pay her phone bill, only to find someone else already has. Tom's glad to find that he and Leila have something in common.

Lachie falls into a coma. Jesse is angry that Rachel's being punished for his and Kylie's mistakes. Aaron appears to be a bit of a clutz behind the wheel.

There's nothing Chloe can do but wait for Lachie to regain consciousness. Irene's planning on lying to get Pippa's old job at the school. Jesse's concerned that Kylie's refusing to speak to Rachel.

Chloe realises that no matter what, Lachie's never going to be the same. Fisher knows his decision will meet with some disapproval, from teachers, parents and students. Aaron's driving lesson with Marilyn isn't exactly an overwhelming success.
