In 1976, young Sikh Gurdip Singh Chaggar is murdered in west London. The National Front are rising. So young British Asians join forces to defend themselves.

It's 1979. A National Front rally in Southall turns violent. Questions about police brutality arise when anti-racist teacher Blair Peach dies.

It's 1981. The Southall Youth Movement clash with skinheads. In a landmark case, youths in Bradford must persuade a jury of their right to self-defence.
