The 49th Annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was held on November 27th, 1975, in New York City starting at 9:30 a.m. and was shown to viewers live on NBC that same day from 10 a.m. to noon EST. It was hosted by Peter Marshall, Helen Reddy, and Ed McMahon. The lineup included nine giant character balloons, 35 floats, 13 marching bands, and the one-and-only Santa Claus.
