From Nizwa to Muscat, via the Haima desert and the coast of Salalah, his journey reveals the challenges of a country where hospitality remains limited to public spaces. Only one local artist ultimately opens the doors of his home to him. It is the only time the globe-trotting squatter will enter the home of an Omani.
